Partnerships

The Mediterranean Wetlands Observatory (MWO) functions as a group of partners involved and/or interested in the protection and management of the Mediterranean wetlands. Partners are the MWO stakeholders who commit time and/or resources towards MWO objectives.

• Technical and scientific partners implement some of the tasks jointly agreed upon by the Advisory Group/ Steering Committee, at least partly through their own resources or through resources they help raise (jointly with the MWO Coordination Unit).

• Institutional and financial partners contribute to funding some of the MWO activities, and/or offer active political and strategic support on a regular, long-term basis.

Each partner signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Tour du Valat and the Observatory.
